About the role
Reporting to the Grain Protection Manager, GrainCorp is seeking a Grain Protection Supervisor to assisting with the Grain Protection plan. based in Yamala the responsibilities of the role will include:
- Monitoring pest control activities to ensure grain is able to be out turned free of insect infestation, within appropriate domestic and international pesticide tolerance.
- Develop the regional fumigation schedule and plan the daily activities of Pest Control Officers, providing supervision of pest control activities.
- Provide technical support within the region and assist with the development and presentation of in-house pest control training programmes.
About your experience
Candidates will have prior experience in pest control and/or fumigation, as well as staff management experience. Candidates will also display:
- Knowledge of the health and safety requirements within the pest control and grain handling industry
- Current valid driver’s licence
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant qualifications in pest control
In addition to providing proof of working rights (Australian Citizenship or PR) and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
