Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Cairns. Reporting to our Service Manager, you will be an experienced or developing leader with sound business acumen. This position is key to driving our team to success, whilst providing exceptional service and value to an existing and developing customer base.
What you will do:- Lead a safe, efficient and productive service operation;
- Supervise, co-ordinate, plan and control the Cairns service operation;
- Attract, develop and retain a highly skilled and dedicated service team;
- Understand and implement OEM process and procedures;
- Assisting our Service Manager with the development and expansion of the Service Department Business Plan;
- Monitor customer service trends to make necessary improvements and assist the team in developing appropriate standards and processes to continuously elevate the overall service experience;
- Providing effective communication to the workshop employees via daily toolbox meetings;
- Planning for the future of the department and implementing actions to ensure continued growth and development of the branch is in line with strategic planning and branch budget planning.
About youTo be successful it is essential you:
- Demonstrate a commitment to safe working practices;
- Have completed appropriate trade and/or management qualifications evidencing a focus on developing high performing teams;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the heavy engine related business or similar;
- Advanced knowledge of Penske brands Western Star, MAN, Dennis Eagle, MTU, Detroit & Allison;
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment with strong customer facing responsibilities;
- Ability to motivate and coach employees in order to achieve individual department and team goals;
- A strong understanding and working knowledge of Quality Assurance;
- Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours.
