Grants Officer Position Description.
M|Arts Precinct in Murwillumbah is a unique destination offering visitors a chance to both interact with artists and browse their creations in hybrid retail/studio settings.
Since its inception, the precinct has also grown to incorporate award-winning dining destinations, services and unique events that bring people from around Australia to our doors.
This is a position description for the Grants Officer role, who will oversee the next stage of our evolution and look to funding potentials into the future.
M|Arts Precinct has been awarded multiple grants for flood resilient construction projects and we require a Grants officer.
Key Responsibilities
All SmartyGrants Actions for all grants
SmartyGrants – Project Status Reports
Building, and management of budget spreadsheets across two active grants
Admin Assistant to the Project Management Team
Be present in weekly project management meetings and take minuets, sending of the minuets within 24 hours to stakeholders.
Invoice tracking and budget template updates
Invoice generation via Xero to CreateNSW
Minute taking during Project Management meetings and Project Control Group meetings.
Minutes submission to CreateNSW direct contacts no later than 2 days after PCG meeting
Communication of grants Milestones requirements to stakeholders.
Milestone submission and management in consultation with internal stakeholders.
Submission of milestone deliverables via SmartyGrants portal and or Dropbox and or email.
1st point of contact with CreateNSW.
Management of ‘Cost Reporting spreadsheet’ and submission to CreateNSW on Milestones.
Integration within the Project Management Team; Architect, Construction Manager and General Manager to ensure smooth implementation and efficient delivery of all key responsibilities.
Search for funding potentials across, federal, state, and local councils.
Grant writing
Collaborate and assist with grant applications with all internal stakeholders.
Must haves:
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent report writing and presentation.
Excellent interpersonal and professional presentation.
Self-driven and can work autonomously.
Excellent Excel experience
Excellent Project Management software experience
Excellent Xero experience
Would suit Graduate Project Manager, Graduate Construction Manager and or bookkeeper.
Applicant will be supplied with computer and all software required for the role.
Hours
At least 2 -3 day in office per week with generous renumeration for the right applicant.
Flexi Time and or Working from Home is a possibility for the right applicant although we would prefer it to be worked out of the office in Murwillumbah.
