The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation is the registered charity for The Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick. The Royal is the only dedicated women's hospital in NSW caring for over 10,000 women each year and delivering more than 4,000 babies.
The Foundation exists to ensure that the hospital can meet the growing demand and keep up to date with the latest technology and research.
About the roleThe Graphic Designer will lead execution of the organisations’ branding efforts and content; print and digital. You'll be bringing to life campaigns, event collateral, style guides, proposals and funding cases, reports, and content for social media.
Reporting to the Marketing and Fundraising Manager, you'll create compelling content to inspire and drive action. Working closely with the General Manager and broader Marketing Team, you will play an integral role in the reputation, growth and overall success of The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.
The successful candidate will offer:
• Strong design, branding and layout principles
• Proficiently use InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong typography skills and attention to detail.
• Experience bringing campaigns and events to life (from conceptualization through to execution)
• Comfortable with web design including understanding responsive layouts and user-centric website designs.
• Be agile, quick thinking and able to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects at once.
• Willing to take onboard feedback.
• A natural problem-solver
• You’re passionate about all things design and up-to-date with best-practice trends and emerging technologies and are eager to learn more and share ideas and skills
• 3+ years’ experience in a graphic design role either in house or agency
• Experience working for a NFP desired but not essential.
• Understanding how big campaign ideas translate through to storytelling, donations and impact.
• An innovative approach to design (print and digital)
