Graphics Marketing Assistant

Internal position (Wangara)

Rowe Scientific Pty Ltd (Est. 1987) is an Australian owned national supplier of laboratory products.   We’re seeking an experienced hands-on Graphics Marketing Assistant to join our small team. 

This is a busy role requiring strong desktop publishing skills across a range of digital and analogue mediums, producing soft and hard copy material to support the sales and marketing function of the company, while working to a structured marketing plan and set of standards.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop & illustrator
• Excellent writing, spelling, verbal communication and attention to detail skills, and a get things right first-time attitude
• Good PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Qualified in graphic/media design and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role is favourable.  Samples of your work to showcase your ability to produce marketing material is welcomed
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines and be able to work autonomously while part of the team
• A ‘how can I help’ team attitude and willing to take instructions while working to company guidelines and standards
• Exposure to event coordinating
• Some knowledge of laboratory practices would be advantageous

Key tasks will include:

• Producing digital campaigns and mailouts
• Website maintenance
• Soft and Hard copy brochures & flyers production
• Catalogue production
• Coordination of marketing materials for trade events
• General marketing duties as prescribed
