AddressEthos BC are excited to partner with a leading energy client who own and operate a number of energy transmission and distribution networks around Australia.
As the Grid Connections Manager, you key responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead the planning and execution of grid connection projects for renewable energy installations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
- Manage the entire grid connection process from initial feasibility studies to final connection, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with grid operators, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
- Evaluate grid infrastructure and propose innovative solutions to optimize grid integration of renewable energy projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in grid connection management within the renewable energy sector with the a bility to manage the negotiations of major load and market generation connections.
- Strong understanding of grid infrastructure, regulations, and industry standards, including extensive knowledge of NERs
- Excellent end-to-end project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
