We are now seeking a skilled Grill Chefwho specializes in grilling quality meats over an open flame to enhance our culinary offerings. This is a full-time position, and would suit somebody looking to settle down long term and who shows a vested interest in growing within our company.

Tasks on the job will include but are not limited to:

• Grill a variety of meats including beef, chicken, pork, and seafood over an open flame according to recipes and customer preferences
• Cooking menu items (including steaks) in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Keeping all work areas clean, tidy, organized & maintained to standard
• Performing duties in an efficient manner, whilst maintaining quality and standards
• Monitor stock levels
• Show a sense of urgency in delivery of service and performance
• Setup & closure of work stations

The ideal candidate:

• Must have full Australian work rights
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including proper storage and handling of meats
• Evident passion and enthusiasm for Italian cuisine
• Possess great culinary presentation and plating skills
• Reliability/flexibility
• Must be a smart planner of menus, food, and inventory
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to achieve tasks independently with training provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Positive attitude and willing to learn, share, and participate
• Interest in development and progression within our growing company
