About the Park

BIG4 Deniliquin Holiday Park, a multi award winning holiday park, renowned for its great activities, location along with exceptional presentation. BIG4 Deniliquin is a family operated park, with customer experience at the forefront. They strive to ensure every guest feels as though they came as strangers and leave as friends.  Located on the banks of the magnificent Edward River & only a few minutes from town, makes this park the prefect holiday destination.

About the Position

This full-time position will suit someone that loves working outdoors.  We are looking for people to join our team to ensure the park is kept clean and tidy and provide our guests with a great experience. Flexibility, reliability, positive and a can-do attitude is a must. The role will see you working on the pools and waterpark, watering the grass and gardens, mowing etc or simply taking our guests to their sites.

It is a small on-site maintenance team so you will find yourself working both as part of this team, as well as on your own.  This role will give opportunities to the applicant to learn and develop within the tourism industry.

About you

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised and follow park procedures.
• Great customer service skiils teamed with a positive attitude and strong attention to details.
• Looking to work outdoors, keep busy and have a friendly smile to greet the guests.
• Flexible attitude to hours, working weekends on a rotating roster and public holidays.

Responsibilities and requirements 

• Dedicated and hardworking with a focus on attention to detail.
• Have a can-do attitude with the ability to interact with guests
• If you have experience in landscaping this would be a bonus but not necessary.
• Flexible with working hours as in this industry you will be required to work weekend, school holiday and public holiday hours as needed.
• Be physically fit.
• Be hands on with an exceptional eye for detail, ability to suggest and make improvements to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintenance of pools (responsible testing of chemicals, recording and cleaning etc).
• Maintenance of amenities blocks, BBQ areas.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures and direction.
• Identify and report safety hazards on site.

Skills and experience:

• General maintenance
• Mowing, weeding, spraying, and general gardening and landscaping duties
• Plantings & pruning
• Responsible use and maintenance of equipment
• Guest Services – be able to communicate effectively and interact with guests
• Understanding of WH&S responsibilities whilst using common sense to effectively and productively solve problems
• Enjoy a high amount of people contact
• Willingness to be hands on with an eye for detail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different situations

You will require a current Australian Driver's License and ability to drive manual vehicles, current Working with Children check and current Police check.
