Group Accountant

Our client is seeking a Group Accountant to join their global technology group located in West Perth. This role offers the opportunity to prepare, report, and analyse key financial information, contributing to well-informed decisions that ensure future stability, growth and profitability. You will be part of a corporate reporting team in West Perth, working closely with both a national and international finance team. This position provides an excellent platform within a dynamic and supportive environment.What you'll do:As a Group Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in preparing, reporting, and analysing key financial information.

• Ensure timely completion of quarterly statutory reporting
• Compile group financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met
• Identify any inaccuracies or abnormalities with the ability to calmly drive satisfactory outcomes
• Complete the income statement and balance sheet of the corporate entity and provide analysis on business unit(s) performance

What you bring:

• CA/CPA qualified with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting, with knowledge in revenue and leasing highly regarded
• Experience in a commercial environment is essential
• Sound hands-on experience in generating detailed financial reports from internal ledgers and forecasts to statutory reports for external use
• Advanced communication skills - both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to all levels of the business
• A strong eye for detail, and a proactive attitude that can easily be adapted to a team's needs but also understand and manage your own workflow
• FBT/BAS experience
