About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Group Accounts Manager position to join our friendly Finance Department. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your role and responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
- Leading and managing a team of three Account Officers, and stepping in when a team member is on leave
- Ensure timely reconciliation of G/Ledger accounts associated with Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) - Afterpay, Humm, Latitude
- Provide support to stores in processing finance BNPL Applications
- Liaise with BNPL merchant services teams (store/customer queries, setting up finance accounts, etc.)
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts and the maintenance of outstanding debts at acceptable levels
- Manage Gifts cards processing
- Insurance Quotation processing
- Resolve certain disputes raised by customers
- Ensure timely allocation and receipting of customer payments from bank statement using SAP
- Review online sales order transactions blocked for fraudulent checks
- Process webstore refunds and ANZ chargebacks
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain Physical and Digital Management system
- Maintain daily picking of jewellery quota
Key competencies to succeed in the role include:
- Understanding of Jewellery Products
- Leadership Experience (and a hands on Manager)
- Experience and exposure to a large ERP system such as SAP
- Intermediate to advance MS Excel skills
- Strong time management/ organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to resolve conflict with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Positive and friendly attitude with the ability to work with several stakeholders
