We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Group Compliance Manager to join our Legal and Governance team on a permanent basis, this position can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting the 1st line businesses in identifying, understanding and managing their compliance requirements and contributing to the design, implementation and maintenance of an effective and fit for purpose compliance management system including the compliance framework and operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the compliance policy and compliance management system (CMS), the relevant framework components together with guidance and tools
- Drive annual compliance certification process
- Drive compliance with the Group Documents Standard by ensuring Group policies, standards, mandates and charters reviewed in accordance with the approved APA Group Documents Standard and maintain the Policy Governance Matrix
- Maintain and uplift compliance programs for key compliance risk areas including Conflicts of Interest, Whistleblower, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Sanctions
- Provide oversight and insight on the overall regulatory environment for APA. Demonstrate leadership by embedding key compliance objectives and controls into business processes and practices
- Compliance reporting to Executive Leadership Team and Risk Committee
About You
- Thrive on building trusted relationships at all levels and across all divisions of APA
- Possess strong attention to detail while also maintaining holistic perspective
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as law, commerce, business, finance or a related discipline (Essential)
- Risk and compliance qualifications (preferred)
- Experience in a regulatory or legal advisory role or other related business experience (essential) in ASX-listed business (preferred)
- Intermediate compliance and regulatory knowledge
- Knowledge of Corporations Act and ASIC regulatory guides pertaining to AFSLs
