Key responsibilities -
- Ensure compliance with trust accounting processes and legislation across all Song Properties / CLLIX Apartments & Hotels, in alignment with state regulations.
- Supervise all Property Management System (PMS) and trust accounting operations, encompassing daily hotel balancing, trust accounting procedures, end-of-month protocols, and disbursement of funds to Owners and other stakeholders.
- Provide on-site assistance and training at properties when remote support is impractical.
- Verify daily bank reconciliations and maintain a consistent three-way balance for all hotels within the portfolio.
- Execute end-of-month processes promptly, ensuring timely payment to owners in accordance with organizational deadlines.
- Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for departmental training purposes.
- Generate and manage operational reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Address and resolve system-related issues through proactive troubleshooting measures.
- Oversee the preparation and completion of management authority contracts for property owners.
- Coordinate with auditors during trust audit procedures to uphold company compliance standards.
- Compile and present historical performance data to senior management to inform future strategic initiatives.
- Provide specialised support and training to General Managers in proficiently managing system-based processes and challenges.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to support various operational aspects of the business.
- Cultivate a culture of development by coaching and mentoring Compliance team members.
- Handle PMS (RMS 9+ Cloud) and other systems troubleshooting calls when necessary.
- Uphold fiduciary responsibilities to all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and integrity in all dealings.
Criteria for selection -
- Minimum of 2-year experience in a similar role is preferred
- Experience using reservation systems such as RMS 9+ and MS Office
- Knowledge of Trust Accounting
- Exceptional management skills and the ability to lead a teams through clear communication of expectations
- Personal accountability and the discipline to work autonomously
