About the role:
- Oversee and manage the day to day operations of our Compliance Department.
- Coordinate compliance scheduling and periodic customer recall bookings.
- Monitor, develop and implement compliance policies and procedures related to vehicle standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance processes meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all Vehicle Compliance activities and documentation.
- Remain abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely team updates.
- Provide training and guidance to the compliance team.
- Ensure timely and high quality delivery of services to customers, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Compliance team, fostering a highly positive, collaborative, and proactive environment.
- Monitor team and individual key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve processes, systems, and tools used within the overall company operations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service delivery.
About you:
- Automotive trade qualification.
- Tertiary qualifications in management/leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of Vehicle Compliance regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to QLD and mine site compliance.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in leading teams and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal/written), with the ability to inspire and motivate others, always leading by example.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Exceptional track record of delivering excellent customer service, managing close customer relations and promoting customer retention.
- A strong desire to actively pursue new business.
- Locally based in Mackay, QLD.
