A rare opportunity has arisen for a hands-on and experienced Group Financial Accountant to make headway in their career in this key role within the business. The roles provides a range of financial support and effective business partnering for the group and its various business units in Australia and internationally.
We are looking for a rising star making their second move from chartered or an industry trained CA/CPA with international consolidation, foreign currency and possibly acquisition accounting experience.
The successful candidate will have the ability to influence key internal stakeholders while leading the international consolidations, audits and monthly reporting packs.
Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager the responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the consolidation for the Group
- Audit and preparation of ASX reporting
- Preparation of monthly reporting packs
- Assisting with budget process
- Maintaining the general ledger including month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Accounting degree with CA/CPA qualification
- Demonstrated 5 years relevant experience
- Desire to accelerate your career by working hard in a high performing business
- Professional services industry experience (desirable)
- Previous knowledge of D365 (desirable)
