Australian Bank looking for a Group Head of Technology to develop and execute the technology strategy whilst managing a highly engaged team.
You will:
- Lead the Technology function across the entire organisation, taking ultimate ownership for all aspects of Technology including Data, Analytics, Infrastructure, Cyber, Service Delivery, Strategy, Digital Transformation and Core Systems management.
- Manage a team of highly engaged staff, ensuring employee engagement and staff development.
- Implement a leading and robust strategy that supports and enables the wider company initiatives and goals.
- Take ultimate responsibility for the management of all vendors (alongside the senior vendor manager within your team)
- Stay across the latest in industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into the strategy.
- Provide a best in class cyber and security framework (in conjunction with the Head of Cyber) that ensures the IT Risk Management Structure is in line with company standards, best practices and external regulatory requirements
- Establish process and governance in the team, particularly pertaining toward project discovery and delivery.
- Foster collaborative, deeply inclusive ways of working within the team
You will be a senior technology manager that has experience of being the ultimate technological authority within an organisation. You will be used to running things. You will have experience in formulating, presenting to exec/board and executing technology strategies.
You will have a solid number of years experience within the banking sector, or from a company that is regulated to the same standards (ie -superannuation or similar ADI)
Ideally you will have spent time in a range of different sized organisations and will have experience presenting to board.
You will be close to best cyber security practices. You will have implemented and managed best in class cyber frameworks.
You will have a deep understandings of financial systems (core banking systems, Loan Origination or similar) integration and architecture.
You will be adept at managing engaged, organised teams that have shared values and a clear vision. You will pride yourself in developing talent and succession planning within teams of 20 – 40.
