Seeking a passionate and talented individual to lead the kitchen and elevate the dining experience to new heights.About:The restaurant boasts breathtaking views, a vibrant atmosphere, and exceptional service, providing guests with unforgettable dining experiences. With refreshing décor, attentive staff, and delicious cuisine, they pride themselves on delivering nothing short of excellence. Catering to lunches 7 days a week from 11am to 3pm, and dinners Tuesday through to Saturday from 5pm, subject to change based on functions & weddings across the year.Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes
- Create innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the commitment to fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen
- Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of kitchen financials and ability to manage costs effectively
- Food safety certification and knowledge of relevant regulations
- Availability for lunch & dinner shifts across a 45 hour work week
- Salary of $95,000 per annum plus superannuation
