Catering to lunches 7 days a week from 11am to 3pm, and dinners Tuesday through to Saturday from 5pm, subject to change based on functions & weddings across the year.Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes
- Create innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the commitment to fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen
- Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
- Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Understanding of kitchen financials and ability to manage costs effectively
- Food safety certification and knowledge of relevant regulations
- Availability for lunch & dinner shifts across a 45 hour work week
- Salary of $95,000 per annum plus superannuation
