Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer who is based in Sydney, this role is ideally performed from one of our major workforce hubs of the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Adelaide or Sydney positioning this role to deliver operational efficiency across hospitality services, including food services, dining experiences, cleaning and laundry services. The ideal candidate will be able to get their hands dirty leading a small team whilst also able to be visionary and strategic with a passion for excellence, innovation, and challenging the status quo. The primary focus of this role is to elevate hotel service standards, and position Infinite Care as an industry leader in Aged Care hospitality services. The key scope of this role will be to;
- Coach and mentor 3 direct reports and indirectly oversee teams of Chef Managers, Hotel Services Team Leaders and other Hotel Services staff members across a national portfolio.
- Understand changes within the Aged Care standards and be able to take Infinite Care well beyond the minimum standards set by the regulator.
- Be accountable for an operating and capital budget of approximately $15M across food costs, Hotel Services equipment and supplies.
- Work in a highly collaborative manner with other operational leaders, corporate functions, people & culture, and external vendors to achieve agreed business outcomes.
- Identify and contribute to overall business improvement and process optimisation efforts including system implementation and project-based initiatives.
- Lead by example and be a highly visible leader who leads the team from the front.

About You
As a highly collaborative and transformational leader your hands-on and “walk the floor” attitude will position you to “hear the voice of the customer” when uplifting operational excellence. Leveraging your diverse background, we will enjoy watching you apply the below core capabilities in this role;
- Strategic thinker who is skilled at translating integrated business plan and service expectations into operational excellence across multi-site and state portfolios.
- Strong leadership and management skills are essential – you are an inclusive leader.
- Thorough understanding of how sector regulatory and compliance changes need to underpin operational protocols, ways of working and achieve operational outcomes.
- Extensive experience in hospitality management is essential which compliments your tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management and/or Food services.
- Experience in the aged care sector (including the unique needs and challenges of elderly residents) or in healthcare management with a focus on elderly care is highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Our Group Hotel Services Manager must be skilled in analysing complex situations, making informed decisions, and implementing effective solutions at scale.
- The ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and control expenses is essential for this role whilst partnering with corporate functions to achieve.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with our multi-cultural staff, residents, families, and other stakeholders.
