Based in North Adelaide, as our invaluable Group Manager Retirement Living & Housing, you will be responsible for the successful overall management, resident engagement, sales and customer service of Helping Hand’s Retirement Living & Housing Services. You will enable the delivery of exceptional customer service to Helping Hand’s various Retirement Villages and its residents, support the organisations staff housing initiatives and support growth in a range of Housing support services. You’ll also make an impact by: Regularly communicating with Helping Hand residents and tenants on relevant issues to ensure their needs are being met and/or exceeded including holding routine information meetings, and other engagement activities and events Investigating areas for improvement in the area of customer service, identifying and implementing appropriate new services to enhance service provision for the residents Identifying opportunities for collaboration with other services and programs within Helping Hand and across Aged Care, Retirement Living, Housing and Health sectors Managing the day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance of the Retirement Living & Housing Portfolio in conjunction with the Property & Maintenance Manager What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Significant experience in Aged Care or associated industries Extensive experience in assisting clients to navigate the Aged Care system to ensure they receive the best possible service that they desire Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability mentor, motivate and develop staff and create an inspiring team environment and customer focused culture Demonstrated experience in engaging and partnering with customers and external networks to promote and partner with for service delivery A working knowledge of Aged Care legislation including the Aged Care Standards, the My Aged Care system and contemporary models of aged care Knowledge of community networks, resources and proven skill in utilising these for service development Proven public speaking skills and the ability to engage with and talk to all sectors of the community High level written and verbal communication skills as well as proven strengths in negotiation, collaboration, networking, report writing, lateral thinking and problem solving Advanced computer skills, with the ability to use and learn multiple platforms and systems WH&S knowledge and skills suitable for the position A current and valid Drivers License A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one Why Helping Hand?
