Are you looking for a Group Manager, Workplace Relations to work with a global remit, enterprise-wide, in a well-established, growing commercial large-scale FMCG consumer organisation with great culture, and a high-performing multi-site, white and blue collar environment?
Due to company growth and investment into the expanding HR team, this will be a newly created position, reporting to the GM of People. You will work strategically and operationally in an advisory capacity, well embedded, and supported by the broader P&C team and the in-house general counsel team, working collaboratively through the HR team and directly with your key stakeholders in the business.
The remit will provide ER/IR advice and consultancy services around employment law, Enterprise Bargaining, disciplinary matters, policy and procedures, and industrial frameworks and instruments in a consultative and strategic way. You will also lead Workplace Relations advice on any organisational changes, creating a positive culture to minimize employment issues and escalated matters. You will be representing the business, for any matters needing to be escalated in the Fair Work Commission and negotiations with unions.
To be successful in this role you will have strong IR/ER/Workplace Relations Management or specialist experience ideally in large complex white & blue collar organisations. You will be able to operate in an autonomous role, creating frameworks, policies, and strategies. You will be confident, credible, and well-versed in providing options, recommendations, and advice to all workplace employment cases and matters through resolution. You would have led enterprise bargaining within complex industrial and unionised environments.
Employment Law Qualifications or a legal practice certificate are highly desirable.
