As part of the recent acquisition of 365 Care and following an initial on-boarding period, General Homecare are now seeking a General Manager who will be responsible for driving business excellence and dynamic growth at 365 Care through developing a high performing, energised, empowered and accountable team. This will be achieved through commitment and conviction to deliver outstanding services to everyone who needs it in the local community following our ethos of “good care is good business”.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished, purpose driven & outcome focussed leader with a “caring heart & commercial mind” to shape a good provider to become a best-of-breed provider with a high degree of autonomy, the support of a strong shared service team and the backing of private capital to make critical investments at pace to accelerate client, people, and business outcomes.
Reporting to the Group CEO of General Homecare, the General Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing 365 Care to be the provider and employer of choice through achieving exceptional client outcomes & satisfaction evidenced in a dynamic growth trajectory.
- Providing a highly engaging place to work with a cohesive focus on serving existing clients exceptional well and a culture embracing and aspiring growth as the reflection of the great services delivered to existing clients and an obligation to those in the community seeking support & care.
- Ensuring the standard and quality of client experience is at the highest level, with a commitment to continuously improve the quality and experience of 365’s services to clients.
- Leading and managing all commercial aspects of the business to achieve exceptional financial performance.
- Lead with a forward-thinking approach that anticipates future community needs, positioning 365 Care as an industry innovator in service delivery and community engagement.
- Proactively assess and mitigate potential risks to safeguard the organization, clients, and staff under all conditions
About You
For this appointment we are seeking a client centric leader that derives all business outcomes through exceptional customer experiences delivered by a highly engaged care & support team. The General Manager will be a leader that has experience working in a fast-paced service environment, possess a blend of a caring heart and commercial acumen. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience building high performing teams and transforming culture.
- Experience managing change in an engaged, inspirational, and empowering manner.
- A track record of outstanding customer outcomes and demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence & performance.
- Experience in driving sustainable and dynamic business (customer) growth alongside continuously improving service quality and client experiences.
- Experience working in a shared-service operating model and able to contribute to leadership team.
- Experience in the provision of community care services (either NDIS or home care) with a knowledge and understanding of the relevant governing bodies.
- Experience building meaningful relationships with external parties (referrals, suppliers etc.) and ability to positively contribute to a brand’s reputation.
