Elevate your career with this rewarding opportunity as a Groups Reservation Sales agent to join our high performing team at Novotel Canberra.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to group booking inquiries via email or phone during shifts, ensuring immediate communication..
- Efficiently input reservations and data for the next 3-month period for all group inquiries and bookings within 24 hours.
- Address various departmental issues related to groups, including follow-ups on prepayments, routing, and vouchers.
- Prepare comprehensive group information sheets, outlining group movements, and brief Hotel stakeholders prior to the arrival of each group.
- Oversee Hotel inventory concerning Group Reservations and monitor potential business wash.
- Generate reports and statistics as per the Reservations Manager's request, such as Group Wash and Business Turndown reports, and 3-month Group Forecasts.
- Manage group payments, cancellations, rooming lists, and terms and conditions effectively.
Qualifications
Successful candidate will ideally have:
- Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong administration and organisation skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
- Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily.
- Handles tasks carefully and correctly – is thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrates versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
- Always display a professional appearance, representing our Novotel brand.
