ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is currently searching for their next Sales and Conference Executive for one of their Flagship Hotels in the heart of Canberra with 8 conferencing and event facilities. We are seeking passionate, people focused and determined individuals with a drive for making a difference to their team. We require candidates who are seeking permanent FULL-TIME work in Hospitality and are invested in their own development.
As the Sales & Conference Executive, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing revenue maximising detailed conference and events proposals
- Monitoring performance of Conference Vision in accordance with targets
- Monitoring/Researching competitors and provide recommendations on changes to current sales strategies.
- Assist in coordinating sales forecasts and provide ideas on strategies to achieve targets
- Motivating and Influencing sales strategies to ensure conversion targets are achieved monthly
About you
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in Event/Functions Coordination with a proven track record in a team environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers
- Passion to deliver outstanding events and customer experiences
- Excellence in communication skills
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
- Proficiency in events software
- Unlimited work rights in Australia
