We are seeking applications for a suitably experienced Group Reservations Agent to join our enthusiastic reservations team. This is a unique opportunity to join Amora Hotel Brisbane as we emerging as Brisbane’s newest and luxurious 5 star Hotel property.
About Your new role:
Your main responsibilities include:
- Manage all aspects of the Group Reservations coordination including block management, deposit payments, rooming lists, amendments and cancellations.
- Ensure revenue and inventory is managed accurately in Opera.
- Work closely with the conference team to manage residential conferences.
- Communicate with all hotel departments to ensure successful stay of the groups.
- Ensure prompt and professional handling of group reservation correspondence and guest interactions.
- Support the FIT reservations team with reservations calls, updating reservations and chargebacks.
To be considered you will have:
- Experience in a similar role within a 5 star hotel environment preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge using Opera Cloud
- Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent presentation, and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills and problem solving ability
- Flexibility to work within a 7 day roster
