Mike Carney Toyota is one of the largest Toyota Dealerships in regional Australia, employing over 170 local staff and selling over 2500 new and used vehicles per annum.
We are seeking a highly motivated Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team in Townsville, for an immediate start.
We are looking for people who enjoy the sales environment and are willing to go that extra mile with each & every guest, with a large loyal guest base already established.
The successful candidates will possess or have the ability to carry out the following;
- Ability to hold a relevant conversation with the Guest
- Good to exceptional communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with Guests resulting in realised opportunities

- Well-developed Guest service skills
- Current and valid driver’s license and able to drive manual transmission
- Motivated self-starter who can learn quickly and effectively within a team environment

- Aptitude to be able to gain excellent negotiation skills
- Aptitude to become proficient at communication over the telephone

After Training your role will encompass the following:
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintaining a high level of Guest Experience
- Becoming a Brand & Dealership Ambassador
- Ability to establish, maintain and grow business relationships
- Upholding Guest Centric Culture within the Dealership
- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and performing thorough demonstrations to our guests
- Follow all Department Sales SOP’s & achievement of required Sales KPI’s
- Follow Up of Sales Guests daily via phone
- Managing inbound and outbound Guest enquiry
- New Business Prospecting Activities
- Maintaining ‘Toyota For Life’ dealership standards
