About the Opportunity:
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Group Venue Operations Manager to lead the efficient management of all Darling Group venues. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role entails overseeing the daily operations to ensure adherence to Darling Group's standards across all aspects of Venue Operations, including guest experience, compliance, venue maintenance, inventory control, people management, and financial accountability. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of exceptional experiences to our guests, enhancing Darling Group's reputation as a leading hospitality group in Australia.
Experience & Skills Required:
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior management role within the hospitality/restaurant industry.
- Strong experience with people management and building high performing teams.
- Strong experience in financial management including, managing budgets, wage costs forecasting, sales analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive operational performance.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to excellence.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, as needed, to oversee events.
