The Langham Hotel Melbourne is currently looking for dynamic experienced Customer Service professionals to join our team to work as Guest Service Agent working rotating shifts
This is an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your Customer Service and Night Audit skills and grow your Hospitality skill set.
This position is an integral part of our high performing hotel team, and a key contributor to our hotel's ongoing success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Your dynamic confident personality will provide the highest level of Guest Service throughout every interaction with our guests, (i.e. check in/out, enquiries, foreign currency exchange, night audit functions and telephone switchboard operation).
- To have complete knowledge of all room categories and rates.
- Experience working with the ''Opera'' PMS with a minimum of 2 years is highly regarded.
- To provide information on all facilities provided within the hotel complex; operating hours, costs etc.
- To anticipate guest needs and handle guest enquiries in a helpful, attentive & friendly manner.
- Take hotel reservations as required outside the Reservations department operating hours.
For this role, your attributes will be inclusive of the following:
- Being able to engage and build rapport with our guests to deliver positive personalised service and identify individual guest preferences
- Excellent presentation, communication and people skills combined with a confident, efficient and friendly disposition.
- Hotel experience is not mandatory but proven experience delighting your customer is!
- A high level of numeracy, literacy and problem solving skills will be highly regarded
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Availability to work rotating shifts , full time or part time role
