The Bunbury Hotel Koombana Bay, sitting on the beautiful Koombana Beach in Bunbury, is one of the most popular hotels in the South West coastal region with a 4.5 stars accreditation and a reputation for its exceptional customer service and amenities.
This job is of half admin half customer service nature with heaps of hours available, and unlike most receptionist jobs, you will not be on your feet all the time.
Candidates must be good with computer, has professional email and phone manners, friendly with colleagues and customers, and reliable in attendance.
Minimum 6 months commitment required. Long term employment preferred.
Immediate start.
Job responsibilities include:
- Undertake all front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests, ensuring superb customer service experience.
- Maintain accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes
- Maintain proper communications across departments to ensure customer requests are met on all levels
- Training new staff when required
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A welcoming demeanour and professional presentation.
- Previous front office experience - preferably in Guest Services and reservations.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Proficient computer skills – an understanding of hotel property management software and Microsoft office Suite would be an advantage.
- A willingness to learn.
- Flexible availability – Reception hours are between 7am – 11pm daily and shifts rotate between days/nights.
