Guest Services Agent (Front Office Receptionist)

Seashells Mandurah is an exciting opportunity for a Guest Service Agent with a passion for customer service, a calm demeanour and, most importantly, a positive attitude to join our Team! The right candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding and personalised service to all guests during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.

The role will suit someone looking for approximately twenty (20) hours a week with the opportunity to increase depending on demand.

Guest Services Agent;

The role involves all aspects of the Front Office operation. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following;

• Providing exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
• Respond to all correspondence and enquiries, either via phone or email, in a professional manner.
• Maintain a proactive, positive approach to complaint handling and resolving issues.
• Liaison with other hotel departments with clear communication to ensure smooth operations.
• Observe all lawful directions, instructions and policies from the Management.

Skills and Experience;

Required;

• A positive attitude
• Flexibility: weekends and full availability over Dec/Jan school holidays are essential
• Min Two years of experience working at a similar Customer Service Level
• Intermediate Computer Skills
• Impeccable grooming/presentation
• Great Communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Problem-solving skills

Desired;

• Hotel Front Office experience
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Experience with Siteminder and Online Travel Agent extranets.
• Advanced Computer Skills
• Hospitality Qualifications (Certificate/Diploma)
