CMC are hiring! We have a permanent opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team, based in our Barangaroo, Sydney office. Please note that we operate onsite working and would require you to come into our Barangaroo office 5 days per week.

Please note that this role is only open to Sydney based candidates with full, permanent working rights (Citizen/Permanent Resident).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update all HR related data on systems, primarily Workday, in a timely and concise manner. Paying attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring regular reconciliations of HR data on all systems are conducted periodically;
  • First point of contact for all employee related queries including day to day management of the shared HR Inbox;
  • Supporting administration and of the full employee life cycle, via Workday where relevant, including but not limited to;

-administering of new hires, probations, job changes including promotions, transfers and line management changes, along with other data changes such as contract extensions;

-supporting the HRBPs with documentation relating to all parental leave offerings and flexible working requests;

Co-ordinate the HR administration activities required for various HR initiatives, as guided by the Head of HR, Senior HRBP and HRBPs.

  • Provide administrative support to the Head of HR, HR Business Partners, and Payroll Manager as/when needed;
  • Provide appropriate cover during team absences;
  • General department administration as requested, including providing support with audit requests.
  • Raise purchase orders and process HR, and training related invoices in a timely manner;
  • Support the on-going development of Workday and HR procedures;
  • Ensure HR Procedures are maintained and any change in procedures are documented accordingly;
  • Providing support to the Talent Acquisition team during the recruitment lifecycle, this will include interview booking, offer confirmations, right to work checks, and offer processes within workday including contract generation;
  • Providing support on immigration matters such as identifying visa requirements during hiring process and processing sponsorship requests with support of the wider HR Function;
  • Ownership of pre-employment screening in conjunction with screening partner, liaising with Talent Acquisition team and wider HR Function regarding queries and escalating matter as required;
  • Managing the induction process from co-ordinating and delivering the HR induction sessions and suggesting updates to ensure content remains relevant;
  • Co-ordination of the monthly New Employee Orientation sessions;
  • Providing support to the L&D Partner with arrangements for any internal or external training initiatives;
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
  • Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training;
  • When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of CMC Markets;
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality;
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Desire to work within a proactive HR team with a customer focused approach;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment;
  • Experience working with an HRIS, ideally Workday;
  • Prior experience in HR Administration or HR Coordination
  • Experience with Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Desirable:

  • Experience with DocuSign;
  • Experience with writing internal communications and updating intranets.
