Capella Sydney is the culmination of a stunning transformation of the heritage listed Department of Education sandstone building, into a luxury hotel that will welcome guests and patrons alike into the impressive building for the first time in history. The Guest Service Agent - Front Desk is responsible for extending a warm arrival welcome and fond farewell to all guests during the overnight hours. The individual will ensure payment information and billing setup is established correctly. The individual assists with the night audit functions and provides room orientations and assist guests during their stay.
The Guest Service Agent - Communications is responsible for answering all calls, messages and emails in a prompt and efficient manner in line with the company standards. The Communications Agent ensures the appropriate technology is used to log and distribute guest requests to the appropriate teams for action. To input all reservations, requests and orders into the appropriate Databases, following the correct procedures & to provide a communications link between Guests, Housekeeping, Laundry, Front Office and all other Departments. To appropriately handle guest complaints and follow up with the necessary departments. To be knowledgeable about all aspects of the hotel.
Talent Profile

  • Personable character with a passion to build strong guest relations
  • Experiences in similar role at luxury hotels/resort or commercial facilities
  • Basic computer skills with hands on experience in room maintenance
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Valid working rights in Australia
