The Avenue Hotel is seeking energetic, passionate professionals that strive to achieve excellence in customer service and are looking for a Casual and part time role.
As one of the first points of contact for the hotel you be responsible for:
- The check in and check out of hotel guests, maintaining guest accounts, taking reservations, answering all calls and assisting guests with all guest requests
- Driving revenue targets by effectively upselling to guests
- Excelling in guest communication
- Ensuring that all guests feel welcome and comfortable.
General Skills
- Must be able to perform job functions with high attention to detail,
- speed and accuracy; prioritise, organize, and follow-up;
- be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment;
- follow directions thoroughly;
- understand a guest’s service needs;
- work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team;
- work with minimal supervision;
- maintain the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Technical Skills
Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers.
Desirable:
- Hospitality experience highly regarded
- Energy to burn!!
- Industry Experience would be great but not required
