Bayview Geographe Resort is part of the Bayview International Hotels & Resorts Group. We have 11 properties throughout Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and New Zealand, with plans to expand significantly over the coming years.

Located just a short drive from the centre of Busselton, we are situated right on the beautiful Geographe Bay beach. Our property spans over 27 acres and our accommodation options include studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom villas.

We currently have the opportunity to expand our team of Maintenance Technicians and are building the team to include a casual qualified electrician. This is a perfect position for someone who is an electrician and is looking for more of a work / life balance or looking to wind down their career. This is a great role for someone who loves getting their hands dirty and solving problems, enjoys variety in their working day, and likes to work as part of a team but is also comfortable working unsupervised when required.

We are looking for a casual team member who has the ability to work approx 3-4 days per week. We are a 7 day operation but we may be able to be flexible with the working days dependent on the successful applicant. The current pay rates are as follows: Mon - Fri $32.73, Sat $39.27, Sun $45.82.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the property to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. 
• Day to day operation of maintenance  requirements within our Resort, such as electrical work, repairing appliances and minor machinery maintenance. 
• Work on projects within the resort, by transferring from one task to another dependent on the level of urgency of the job.
• Able to follow a preventative maintenance schedule. 
• Work closely with other departments to determine what jobs need to be done and keep them updated as to the progress of the jobs.

Requirements:

• Current driver's licence. 
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance.
• Availability to work approx 3-4 days per week.
• Previous experience in a similar role and trade qualified in electrical work. 
• Knowledge of safe work practices and willingness to adhere to these. 
• Physical fitness as this can be a very manual / hands on role.
