We are seeking highly motivated, safety focused General Freight & Local (Geraldton based) Drivers based out of Geraldton/Mid-West. The work moves General Freight between our customer sites and FLG Depots in Western Australia.
- General Freight operates exclusively within Western Australia with no Interstate travel at this time.
- Local Deliveries include Mine Site deliveries within the Midwest Region (approx. 300km to site)
- Please note this is not a FIFO role.
If you’re an experienced driver and possess the following, then we want to talk with you:
- Live in Geraldton or close by.
- Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
- HC, or HR license and Forklift License with suitable experience.
- Have excellent, respectful customer and interpersonal communication. Our drivers represent Freight Lines Group to our customers and other road users.
- Willingness to Uphold FLG’s commitment to Safety Standards with a demonstrated history of safe work practices.
- Able to comply with FLG’s coupling and uncoupling procedures (where applicable)
- Able to comply with WA Fatigue requirements.
- Have a good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility
- You are reliable and can be counted on
- You live in or around the Geraldton region and have a knowledge of the local area.
Advantageous:
- DG License
- Good load restraint and WA Fatigue Guidelines knowledge
You will be required to meet FLG’s employment criteria which also includes but not limited to a Full Drivers Medical, Drug & Alcohol Test and Employment Background Check.
