The Venue:
A large regional hotel with a unique intimate feel; combining great service, food, entertainment and accommodation. This is a venue loved by locals and visitors alike. It has long been known for its family friendly dining and country hospitality.
The dining room welcomes the guest staying at the Hotel, as well as locals and other visitors. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with approximately 300 capacity. It has recently updated its pizza kitchen as part of this offering. Further renovations are scheduled and this will influence the food offerings especially in relations to events and functions.
The Role:
This is a true leadership position within our group. The ideal candidate will have strong people management experience, with proven ability to develop, inspire and encourage their team to perform at their very best.
They must be a clear communicator, with the highest level of attention to the finer details.
They will have the capability to continue to revolutionise the menus and offering of this venue.
Someone who has the confidence to bring their team together and shows true leadership in all aspects of their role and contribution to the overall business. We want to see that personal drive and enthusiasm that can infect their team and bring out the best in all who work with them.
You:
- At least 3 years in a high volume, high quality kitchen - some fine dining experience would be advantageous to be utilised more as the venue grows and develops.
- A want for a move to regional NSW for the longterm - this is your opportunity to escape the cost of living pressure of the large cities
- A real knack for motivating and teaching enthusiasm for your trade - along with the skills required to be part of your team
- Menu creation experience along with understanding pub food trends and keeping ahead of them
- A want to grow with as the business grows and guide change across the kitchen team
- A lead by example management style and a look forward approach to all that you do
