The Role:
Looking hospitality professional with functions and events experience, this role provides the scope for exercising your considerable knowledge and passion for food on a daily basis. A dedicated team awaits their new Head Chef to inspire and create. This venue is well known for events and functions as well as delicious a la carte options all in a gorgeous setting. The ideal candidate will be a leader who is passionate about their team, achieving results and exceeding customer expectations.
We require:
- Experienced professional with a positive hands on approach in a high turnover establishment
- Strong motivational skills to inspire the team to deliver results
- Experience in function and event operations including weddings and corporate events
- Extensive experience in menu development, costings and gross profit management
- Full accountability of profitability and performance within food department
- Delivery of KPI’s including sales, labour cost and expense control
- Excellent supplier relationships and negotiating skills
- WHS standards
- Salary Package of $90-$95k + super

- 2-3 yrs experience as a Head Chef in similar fast paced environment

- Experience in catering role preferred but not essential
