Catering HQ is currently seeking Head Chefs to join their award winning venues in Lynwood, Castle Hill, Ashfield, Parramatta, Moorebank, Roselands, Central Coast, Springwood, West Ryde and Mona Vale.
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
- Manage daily production planning
- Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
- Costing and control kitchen operations
- Control and direct the food preparation process
- Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
- Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
To be considered for the position you must posses the following:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar relevant qualification
- Excellent cooking skills and overall technical expertise
- Excellent leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
