Massage Therapist

At Motion Health and Wellness Clinic, we are looking for a full time (with 38 hours per week) skilled Massage Therapist to perform the following duties:Responsibilities

• Assessing clients about symptoms, medical history and desired results;
• Practicing observation, palpation, including a variety of treatment modalities;
• Manipulating soft tissues of the body (trigger point, functional massage techniques, myo-fascial release);
• Practicing massage techniques to prevent injuries and improve sports performance;
• Providing clients guidance on stretching, strengthening and how to improve their posture;
• Maintaining accurate clinical note taking;
• Referring clients when required to other practitioners and this may involve written referrals.

Requirements

• The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience
• Professional approach.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confident manner.
• Positive approach to change.

Position: Full Time
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year + Superannuation
