Not only does Oliver Brown specialise in chocolate, but have produced our blend of specialty coffee and an extensive range of delicious breakfast and lunch options.
Oliver Brown is opening a production pastry Kitchen in Leichhardt, NSW to provide a wide variety of European patisserie to OB cafe shops.
About the role
We are looking for experienced Head Pastry Chef preferably with Patisserie boutique or production experience.
Your duties will include:
- Passion for all things pastry
- Confident managing & leading a team of Pastry Chefs with varied levels of experience.
- Purchasing & control stock
- Maintain High quality standard products.
- Cost control
- Daily operations including rostering & ordering.
- Product Development with Executive Pastry Chef
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure.
About you
Are you a Head pastry Chef who is looking to set up to a new challenge where you still remain in the hospitality industry although gain a work life balance.
- Have at least 4 year experience as Head Pastry Chef
- Demonstrate competent skills & knowledge in patisserie.
- Management experience in café/restaurant teams.
- Qualifications / certificates in HACCP, local Food handling & Hygiene would be advantageous
- Exceptional people management skills and a commitment to developing employees
