Havaianas are made from our secret rubber formula making them comfortable, durable and stylish. Since Havaianas launched, a total of 2.2 billion pairs of Havaianas have been produced and sold throughout the world. In Australia, Havaianas are sold in over 1000 locations. Havaianas as a brand have become the summer essential for everyone, everywhere. We approach the day to day with enthusiasm, a sense of adventure and a sense of humour. THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Head of Brand and Marketing Manager is a key role in the Aqueo business. You will report to and work closely with our company director to set the direction of Havaianas in Australia. You will be responsible for leading a great team, overseeing all marketing initiatives, and collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with brand direction and business growth. You will need to think creatively, utilising data to deliver efficient and effective campaigns in line with the company’s goals and aligned with the global business. Sitting on the leadership team you will also be responsible for overall business strategy for sales growth and collaboratively manage key areas of the business functions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Product

• Collaborate on all product development including local range development and brand collaborations.

• Ensure product and range selection is on Brand and will contribute to sales, making sure you are across monthly orders and closing stock positions.

Sales Revenue & Budgets

• Ensure all marketing opportunities contribute to sales growth and monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets are achieved through the marketing strategy.

• Manage marketing budgets effectively, optimizing ROI and KPIs while ensuring a strong brand presence in the market.

• Manage the Ecommerce strategic plan and budget to ensure sales growth is profitable.

Marketing Operations

• Own and develop the marketing calendar, planning product launches, promotions and initiatives across all channels and ensure the execution of marketing activity is managed effectively and leveraged.

• Lead the development, planning and execution of Brand and Marketing efforts across retail partners and DTC.

• Overseeing and reporting on content for the website and social media channels to drive engagement and grow audiences.

• Manage the creative team through campaign requirements and give feedback to ensure that content produced is brand aligned and engaging.

• Oversee PR, partnership and influencers plans that create brand awareness and drive new customers. (This is fun. Think Rainbow Pools, Beach Clubs, Ice Cream Trucks!)

Communications and Creative Strategy

• Ensure the Havi’s voice is fun, consistent and on-brand across all platforms.

• Oversee the content marketing strategy for all social and content channels, ensuring content is delivered on brand.

• Manage our creative and agency partners to develop effective campaigns and activations and lead the development of the overarching creative messaging for all campaigns making sure it aligns with the global direction. Working with a global team can be challenging. You need to be particular on what is right from a local perspective.

Wholesale And Retail

• Develop and support a retail-specific marketing strategy and retail-sponsored campaigns to ensure a robust retail marketing calendar is built and delivered on, including launching with new retailers.

• Drive excellence in visual standards through simplified guidelines and implementation of store presentation. If the product and stands are looking good, they will sell themselves. This is sometimes a hard battle but is so important.

Ecommerce, Acquisition and Analytics

• Oversee the strategic plan and support roadmap for improved implementation to functionality to drive revenue and conversion goals while ensuring seamless and on brand user experience.

• Focus on the DTC revenue and acquisition targets, working closely with our wider team to develop strategies that ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets are achieved.

• Manage the development and delivery of content across the website and social media platforms to support brand, business and promotional objectives while continuously testing and learning to deliver results.

Leadership, People, and Culture

• Develop direct team, promoting a collaborative, creative and inclusive work environment. It’s a small team but an amazing team. You’ll need to not be afraid of getting stuck in and getting your hands dirty.

• Provide leadership and guidance for the wider business, setting clear goals and objectives that align with the Aqueo’s direction.

QUALIFACTIONS, KEY BEHAVIOURS & TRAITS:

• Ten years demonstrated marketing experience, preferably in consumer goods

• Five year’s experience leading and managing a team

• Strong customer acquisition experience

• Proven brand building and storytelling capabilities

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail
