We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to join our team as the Head of Category & Insights.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading category management and insights, as well as in-store execution for Consumer Health Australia. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams, as well as support the NZ team where needed, and collaborate with the Global Customer Excellence Teams, to drive channel and category strategy execution across all brands and channels.

• Develop and implement trade channel and category strategies for Consumer Health Australia.
• Lead annual execution calendar planning and coordination of priority activities.
• Identify opportunities for promotions and merchandising activities to maximize brand visibility and shopper conversion.
• Analyze market data, shopper data, and pricing to drive decision-making for optimal commercial outcomes.
• Own and lead the Net Revenue Management agenda.
• Implement communication policies and ensure compliance.
• Drive connection between marketing and sales teams, gathering and interpreting information to facilitate joint work with distribution channels.
• Connect with and support NZ team where needed to ensure ANZ strategies and executional plans make sense, particularly where common customers are impacted.
• Lead the implementation of key customer excellence initiatives such as category strategy development and digital ecommerce.
• Collaborate with functional leads to adopt global best practices and processes.
• Utilize shopper and category insights to identify trends and develop promotional guidelines.
• Provide input to global Centers of Excellence for development of frameworks and guidelines.
• Define and submit merchandising guidelines and ensure coordinated implementation.
• Own CuEx agenda for ANZ, ensuring alignment to global framework.

• Previous experience with Agile working is desired.
• Strong strategic thinking and growth mindset.
• Proven ability to thrive in matrix reporting structures and periods of ambiguity.
• Demonstrated success in influencing and partnering with global, regional, and senior management.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
• Experience managing and coaching direct reports.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 10 years of previous experience in consumer goods environment.
• Learning agility, resilience, and passion for new ways of working.
