The Chief Information Officer has an impressive background in clinical technology programs, driving strategic initiatives and is striving to achieve a more positive customer experience, enhance user experience and increase compliance and controls in the business. The Role
This role represents an excellent long-term opportunity to work with an organisation that is in an extremely exciting time and will offer continued professional development with a good work-life balance. This opportunity would encompass the definition and execution of a greenfields enterprise application strategy through organisational design, platform enhancement and organisational change. This Head of Application will provide subject matter expertise on the following areas:
- Define and understand current applications, architecture and utilisation and provide application subject matter expertise in developing a strategic roadmap for future state
- End to end management of the application team including operations, design, development, testing and implementation of application uplift projects
- Provide strategic advice around platform uplift opportunity and application validation strategies across enterprise applications from core systems to back office business applications
- Establish, organise and lead an application team to provide organisational understanding of application alignment to organisational strategy
- Providing thought leadership in technology-driven insights that help support exploitation of strategic and tactical business opportunities, and be a champion for a digital culture

Your Profile
You are a experience qualified application enthusiast with experience in end to end capability in application management from hands on to building strategic insights in immature application environments. You will be able to communicate with stakeholders across IT and the business whilst providing initiative and intuitive thinking surrounding business process improvement. You must be able to understand the problem before trying to address the solution and your business partnering skills must be a key strength.
