Ormiston College is seeking an exceptional Head of College to serve as both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Education Officer. This role involves comprehensive leadership and management of the College, with active participation and reporting to the Board and its committees.
The Head of College is responsible for ensuring the College’s Christian values underpin all activities while maintaining a top-tier educational environment. Responsibilities include recruiting, developing, and motivating a stellar team of staff, overseeing student enrolment, welfare, and discipline, and managing the School’s financial affairs responsibly. Additionally, the role involves enhancing the College’s facilities, supporting pastoral care and wellbeing programs, and collaborating with the Board on strategy, policy, and new initiatives. Fostering genuine engagement with the College community through effective communication and serving as the College’s representative in the broader community are also key aspects of this position.
The successful candidate will be a visionary, performance-driven educator who balances respect for Ormiston College’s traditions with a forward-looking perspective.
