Carey is currently seeking a customer focused leader to join our Technology Services team in the position of Head of Service & Operations.
The Head of Service and Operations is responsible for driving the transformational change to implement an ITIL Service Management & Operations function. It will assist with the delivery of an excellent service experience to the School's end-users. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team covering areas of end-user computing, infrastructure, applications, data, and the digital learning environment.
This role requires a leader who is people and relationship focused. They will have a proven track record of developing high-performing, passionate teams that are focused on service excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will also embody our core values of care, respect, and growth.
This is a permanent full-time position, primarily based at the Kew campus however there may be occasions to travel to other campuses.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in leading change and implementation of an ITIL function
- Significant experience in service management, operations and transition
- Strong working knowledge of ITIL methodology, schools needs, and associated tools
- Highly developed interpersonal, relationship and communication skills
- Previous experience working in schools or educational settings would be an advantage
