Head of Finance - Client Partnerships
In the capacity of reporting to the General Manager of Commercial Finance - Client Sales and Product, this position is entrusted with the responsibility of providing operational and strategic business support to the Client Partnership division. The primary objectives include driving cost and commercial transformation in client sales areas, ensuring excellence in engagement and deliverables within finance processes such as planning, forecasting, and investment management. Additionally, this role oversees the annual budget and planning cycle for the Client team while managing month-end routines for revenue and operating expenses.
Role Responsibilities
- Executive Business Partnering: Strategically and operationally partner with the Director of Sales and their leadership teams to drive profitable growth, identify new business opportunities, and implement strategic transformation.
Budget Delivery: Inform, influence, and execute strategies within the Client Partnerships division to achieve cost budgets and drive profitable revenue growth. Identify and pursue both cost and revenue opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage stakeholders across the sales teams, addressing their needs, issues, and concerns to facilitate key decision-making and drive profitable revenue.
Performance and KPI Reporting: Define and continually evolve KPIs, performance reporting, and margin analysis. Drive automation to create a future-fit and cost-effective information environment supporting decision-making.
Team Management & Development: Manage, develop, inspire, and report on the team's performance. Set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable.
Capability Building: Identify and prioritise capabilities needed to meet current and emerging business needs. Motivate team members to develop their capabilities and fulfil their development plans.
Continuous Improvement and Adoption of Best Practices: Drive continuous improvements in partnering and broader finance processes.

Commercial acumen: Acts as the organisational authority and established expert to develop solutions based on an understanding of the business environment and objectives.

Qualifications:
- CA/CPA qualified
Experience managing senior stakeholders at all levels
Proven track record in building high-performing teams
Prior experience with TM1 or similar systems is preferred
