Your new role
As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the company. You will lead a team of Finance professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to achieve our business objectives. Reporting to the CEO, responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Provide monthly financial KPI's and insight to the CEO and management team
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting and the fun actions of AP, AR, payroll and IT/systems
- Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
- Provide strategic insights to the executive team for informed decision-making
- Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function
- CA or CPA with proven experience as a finance leader in a manufacturing / building materials profile
- Knowledge of consolidation and transfer pricing strategies
- Working knowledge of BOM's and inventory reduction initiatives
- Ability to balance working "on the business" with time spent "in the business"
- Commitment to driving improvements and being a key voice in the leadership team
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
- Natural leadership of a finance team, develop and mentor where necessary
