As the Head of Health Services, you will work at an enterprise level across Australia and New Zealand, to drive the health strategy and influence product proposition.
In addition, you will lead a team of experienced Medical Officers who provide expert medical opinion, medical definition accuracy and relevance, pricing conditions, and claims assessment guidelines for the claims and underwriting teams, while improving health capability through the design and delivery of medical training.
You will also sit on the claims review and governance forum with the executive leadership team and contribute to the strategy for our global health and wellbeing app, LiveWell.
Important to your success - let's grow together
- Qualified medical practitioner with registration in Australia.
- Experience in the Life Insurance industry is preferable, as is experience in designing and delivering medical training programs.
- Knowledge within medical areas, critical illnesses and/or specific health and wellbeing themes, to support pricing and product initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management with exemplary communication skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to take initiative, drive, and deliver strong business outcomes.
- An analytical mindset with proficiency in problem resolution.
- Ability to work in a changing environment where service and the customer experience is extremely important.
