Your role:
As the Head of Home Care, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Home Care services. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care are met and maintained. Your role will involve strategic planning, staff management, and continuous improvement of services to meet the evolving needs of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Home Care team, providing guidance, mentoring, support, and professional development.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality and efficiency of Home Care services.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation to optimise service delivery.
- Drive commercial performance by consistently achieving targets, and implementing initiatives to increase service utilisation and revenue streams.
- Conduct regular financial monitoring and analysis with Finance Team to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting, while implementing corrective actions as needed to meet financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence within the team.
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery, identifying areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Tertiary Qualification in Business, Management, Commerce, Finance, Social Sciences or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the Home Care or healthcare sector.
- Possess a working understanding of in-home aged care, including operational knowledge of Home Care Packages (HCP) and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), ensuring effective program delivery and compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Demonstrated leadership experience at Executive or C-suite level.
- Strong understanding of aged care and in-home aged care regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
