OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
With our vision in mind to become the world's most loved short-term rental brand, we are in search of a senior marketing leader who can drive MadeComfy's growth and brand awareness through the development, planning and continuous optimisation of all marketing channels and strategies. Your performance mindset and creative business acumen will help MadeComfy become the go-to place to book refined short to mid-term rentals and enable MadeComfy's scalability and profitability. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the CMO.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Define marketing strategies to support the company's overall objectives to improve visibility and explore new ways to grow across property acquisition, licensee partnership and guest booking
- Oversee the day-to-day implementation of strategy across all marketing activities to achieve specific business targets (growth and retention) and be hands-on when required
- Monitor marketing operations and communications to ensure they project MadeComfy's tone of voice
- Deep dive into market, competitor, and macro trend insights to set up a foundational understanding that leads to success
- Use data-driven, test-learn approaches and best practices to optimise and improve marketing channel performances
- Monitor and analyse important metrics (including campaign results, conversion rates and traffic), discover opportunities and report trends
- Work with the Sales team to understand customer insights and messaging that can be used to enhance targeting, increase lead delivery, and optimise conversion
- Liaise with the leadership team and other departments to build solutions that are unique to the property, real estate agent and guest markets
- Look for opportunities to improve efficiency by adopting new marketing technologies and initiatives
- Build, mentor and lead the marketing team
- 8+ years experience as a marketing generalist or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in a data-intensive, strategic role managing overall marketing budgets and allocating resources to achieve KPI
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams
- Demonstrated track record of hitting KPIs and driving success in fast-growth organisations
- Strong background in performance marketing and/or brand marketing with a proven track record
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from research and data
- Experience in building highly engaged social communities across platforms
- A natural leader with strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate, ambitious and a self-starter with a sense of urgency
- Ability to project manage and multitask at scale, in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment
- Strategic thinker whos not afraid to get your hands dirty
- B2B marketing and real estate industry experience are advantageous but not a must
