The Role
Ideally you will be working as a Practice Manager or a Senior Client Service Manager within the Financial Planning industry.
Responsible for the day to day running of the practice, you will not only have demonstrated knowledge of financial products and services but also an indepth working knowledge the processes of a financial planning firm.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will have a hand in ensuring that the highest standards are kept in order, and the improvement the business needs to develop and take the business further.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Team mentoring and leadership including training and recruitment of new staff and the setting of team objectives, monitoring individual performance and ensuring KPI's are met
- Managing workflow for Financial Planning advisers and support teams
- Organisation of internal and external client events in conjunction with staff and associated business partners and the cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships
- Participate in leadership group meetings and work with the leadership team in delivering business objectives
- Reporting and implementing business systems and processes
- Maintaining database and other key technology systems
- Assist with preparation of marketing collateral and campaigns
- Assist partners with adhoc projects as required
- Complete compliance checks as required and ensure all compliance requirements are met
- Maintenance of positive relationships with both internal and external customers
- Other duties as requested
About You
To succeed with this role you will have the proven ability to lead and manage staff within various units of the business within Financial Planning as well as possess the following:
- 5+ years working within a compliance, Practice Manager or Senior Client Service Manager role within the Financial Planning or Accounting industry managing 6 or more direct reports
- Relevant tertiary degree or
- Solid understanding of compliance standards and policies
- Experience with Xplan/Adviser Logic is preferred
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a growing team
- An amazing people person, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to liaise with stakeholders across all levels; and
- A genuine passion for customer service and lead a team to provide outstanding customer experiences
