Build your career at Iress!This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring accurate and timely processing of the Iress payroll across a number of different geographical regions and managing a payroll team of four to ensure the payroll and all required legislative requirements are met within dedicated time frames, both internally and externally.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
- True end to end payroll processing and management
- Process improvement and overseeing planned system upgrades and/or integrations
- Payroll compliance in relation to monthly/yearly reporting to various international revenue offices and internal stakeholders across international regions
- Key advisor to Finance and People teams in relation to all payroll matters
- Support executive members with confidential reporting and analysis
- Act as the point of escalation for all payroll queries which come through the team
What you will bring:
- Global Payroll Experience
- Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively
- Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Experience using a global HCM system
- Familiar with inhouse and outsourced payrolls and ability to build strong relationships with existing providers
- Proven experience in system implementations and integrations
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and across different time zones
- Proactive and determined problem solving skills
- NES, Award and Contract interpretation
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, standards and codes relating to payroll administration
- Policy interpretation and compliance
- Ability to use financial formulas to perform calculations, comparisons and reconciliations
- Experience with Employee Share Schemes in relation to international payroll processing
